This full day tour in The Gaza Envelope is meant to give you a very clear picture of the region and the history of that happened there on Oct. 7, 2023. You will also witness the rebuilding of this community.

Tour details
- Tour price is $175 per person
- The tour includes:
- Round trip transportation from Royal beach Hotel in Tel-Aviv.
Licensed tour guide (who is also an armed guard and medic)
Air-conditioned tour bus & water provided
- Lunch in a Kibbutz dining hall.
- Security: Traveling to the South is safe and permitted. However, at times you may hear sounds of war from the neighboring Gaza. We will strictly adhere to all IDF guidelines.
- The tour is subject to a minimum of 8 participants, space is limited, register ASAP
- Cancellation policy: Full refund until November 30th.

Day tours in the Gaza envelope itinerary
- 8:00am Depart Tel Aviv and head to the Gaza envelope.
- Morning coffee break.
- Sderot: Explore the growing town, including a viewpoint overlooking Gaza and a visit to the location where the police station was, which is now a memorial.
- Netiv Ha’asara: Visit the community closest to the border. Meet one of the locals who will explain exactly what happened on Oct. 7, 2023, this community lost 20 memebers. We will see the memorial next to the border as well.
- 1pm Lunch: Enjoy a meal at Kibbutz Yad Mordechai.
- Nova Festival Site: Visit the place it happened and view the memorial.
- Car Cemetery: Witness the remains of many burned vehicles from Oct. 7 attack near Netivot.
- 4:30pm Depart for Tel Aviv (ETA: By 6:30pm)

I just returned from the most meaningful journey through Israel. A group of 9 people from Charlotte and Santa Monica, couples and singles, travelled to Israel to bear witness to the horrors of October 7 and visit with those affected, and also to enjoy the fabulous people, food and culture of Israel.
Omri and Dana led our group through a seamless week of visits to the Gaza envelope - Nir Oz and Nova - up to the border of Lebanon, and everywhere in between. The personal connections and relationships that they both have throughout Israel made this a more intimate experience for all of us, most of whom had been to Israel many times before. Omri managed to put together the most meaningful and amazing trip! From working as volunteers , visiting the sites that have been affected by the war , the Nova festival ,kibbutzim next to the Gaza border , meeting with family of the hostages , visiting wounded soldiers , learning of the different points of view of the Israeli society and more … and at the same time having fun with our friends and eating in the most delicious places israel can offer to show us the resilience of the Israeli people in spite the war
